But what if we were in parallel universes,with different homes in each.
What if you were born in a different home?
What if you weren’t afraid of heights?
What if you took up a different course or stream?
What if you never took that flight,where you supposedly met the one?
What if you chose a different path down after work,where you found a different favourite restaurant?
What if you never spoke to that group at the back of the class?
What if you wore that one dress,you loved so much?
What if you lived in a different continent,had a different favourite season?
What if you sent that text,at 3 AM?
What if he never took the ring?
What if you didn’t love the crazy colours on your wall?
What if you never went for that college trip?
What if the person you wonder about,ever wondered about you?
And then I realised, there’s so much more that makes a home,than just it’s definition.
